Brooks walked around the camp, tired of sitting in his hut. The life of a Healer could be boring sometimes, but it was definately worth it.

He could feel warmer weather start to come from the north again. It was a nice feeling, after a colder than usual winter. Anyone outside of the Air Tribe would probably be celebrating, but Brooks knew what it brought.

Clay sat in his hut for a while. He could already feel that the weather was warmer. He had not wanted to move, he just wanted to absorb the peacefulness that the warm weather seemed to bring.

Brooks walked back into the hut, sighing unhappily. "Want a lesson outside of Healing?" he asked, not even bothering to put enthusiasm into his voice.

Clay looked at his mentor. "Is something wrong Brooks?" He asked, noting the unhappy expression his mentor wore.

"There's nothing wrong in my personal life," Brooks said. "But I think I found something that everyone takes for granted now, but will hate later on in the next couple suns." He didn't want to clarify what he meant until Wafter accepted the offhand lesson.

"Okay.." CLay said slowly. "What kind of lesson 'outside of Healing'?"

Brooks smiled. "Weather," he answered simply. "Even if it's going to be a short lesson today, all Airs need to know how to read the weather, whether or not they're warrior or hunter. Or Healer, in our case."

'Okay!" CLay said. Reading the weather sounded like it could came in handy. "That sounds like it could be...interesting."

"You see how the clouds are high in the sky, the sky is bright, and it's currently warm?" Brooks asked.

Clay looked up, staring at the bright blue sky. THe clouds were puffy and white, floating miles into the air. "Yes, I see that." He said.

"That's not good."

[[OOC: ug, school iduring summer. jk lesson remembered]]

"It's not?"

"No," Brooks said. "That means there's a cold front. Probably not as cold as the winter in summer, but near it." He turned to his apprentice. "Have fun with the warm weather as much as you can. The cold's going to be upon us within a day."

Clay whistled. That was incredible! He realized he had more to learn then anyone could ever think!

"A day huh?" He said. "Wow, that's incredible that you can tell that just by looking at the clouds."

Brooks couldn't help but smile. "The clouds tell a story," he replied. With the lesson over, he turned back to his hut.
