Lies

I was told lying was bad
That we should always tell the truth
But why do we lie anyway?
We lie about everything now...
Don't we?

Two sides to a story
This one did that
No, that one did this
Who's telling the truth?
Who's lying?
There are just to many lies to know anymore

So much gossip
What can we belive in?
How do we know they are speaking the truth...
Or just false words?

Look who did this!?
Oh my gosh can you believe that!?
No, I cannot
I don't even know if it's true
But how can I?
Even the evidence that say it is true could be false

So many lies
Just to many
And there growing
More and more by the day
Soon, there would be no such thing as the truth
