| The unicorn climbs up a rolling hill, her eyes all ablaze. A fire was started by a man, making her anger raise.
The white mare's colt had died; her heart no has no peace. The loss was tragic and a new fury had been leased.
With a whinny and a snort, the unicorn runs far away-- Off to find a certain killer to slay.
Her hooves pound against the ashen burnt ground and her white mane billows all around.
The hunter becomes the hunted. his life won't suffice. For her horn is deadly, and her aim precise.
He will pay for the deed he has done. Her pasture is burnt, and she is now without a son.
His tracks follow more towards her home. She finds him skinning a pony she's called her own.
She neighs ferociously, her angst overwhelms her The man starts to run, but the mare is much faster.
Her horn cuts him deep, he'll never survive. Seeing him dead, she trots to her child, who's no longer alive.
She nuzzles his bloodied head, her eyes swelling with tears. She cries in anguish, with a pain so strong, it sears. | |

| I like this poem. It's beautiful, has emotion and . . . and . . . it's good. | |
