The Bewilders
Bewilders are the people who protect the Ten Major Elements of the world, keeping the balance of life.
There are Three Elders, chosen very carefully to behold the most important staffs, that also chooses the Bewilders. These beholders are Immortal, so they will never have to be chosen again, which means the Bewilder of these staffs have only been chosen twice by no one other than the Fate Spirits. The Star Staff, one that keeps the line of Good and Evil, and warns when the balance might be upset,; The Soul Staff, a staff that chooses the right Bewilders of the other staffs, and the most powerful staff, the Immortal Staff. Though the Immortal Staff does not turn people immortal, it keeps all the other Staffs in check. And it is the only staff known to destroy a staff. The only staffs that had to be destroyed were the Death Staff, and the Darkheart Staff, the evilest of the staffs. However, the powers were not gone. The Darkheart Staff evil powers errantly indulged itself in the moon staff, surviving on the shadows. The Moon staff cannot be demolished, for then; all life in the Night would be lost forever. The Death staffs powers have not be tracked, but actually lures in the powers of the Time Staff, which means that any Bewilder of the Time Staff can be lost forever.
The Magic Staff is the leader of the other Staffs, having certain powers, that varies due to the Bewilder. Though the most powerful, the Time Staff is the most important, it is what chooses the fate of the future, though it unable to go back into the past. The Moon Staff is the most Dangerous, on the verge of Darkness. If the Bewilder of the Moon Staff is to fall to the Evil side, they will never return, and will have to be killed.
The new generation of Bewilders will have it the worst of them all, however. They will have to face more trouble than any of the previous Bewilders combined. They will do what no other Bewilder has done before. The World lies in their hands, the more complicated it gets between the Bewilders, the more turmoil the World will have to endure. Question is, will the World be the same again?

Staffs Profile:
Storm Staff
Weight: 20lbs
Material used: Thunder Bird claw, Steal base wrapped in copper/zinc, morphed into a lightning shaped blade with a curved handle that is the Thunder Bird claw.
Staffs Abilities: The power to conjure storms, as well as lightning.
Staffs defects: It usually takes too long to conjure a storm, and most storms can only be conjured under certain conditions.
Requirements to possess the staff: The person must be force as a hurricane, and as powerful as any storm. This, and the knowledge of what is best for ones earth, and those around.
Bewilder:
Kayoss
Height: 6’0ft.
Weight: 188lbs
Build: Muscular.
Hair: Blue, Anime Style
Eyes: Black.
Sex: Mail.
Skin: White.
Age: 19.
Bio: Kayoss, or as formally known as Aaron Smith, receiving his name for the fact that he is notorious for his schemes (Located: Detroit Michigan). He has been in jail at least fifteen times, and sent to a Juvenile Boarding school twice. With his parents never home, and uncaring of their sons’ doings, he was basically a free man. Reasons for Kayoss trouble makings, was the death of his elder brother when he was ten. His older brother was only sixteen when his life was taken in a gang war. To avenge his brother, Kayoss joined an opposing gang, and build up his reputation so he could be feared on the streets. He was upset at first, because he knows he would never return to his town to get revenge on those people, but he is also glad. Happy for the reason that he has developed a crush on a fellow bewilder: Sara Seconds. However, Kayoss has a lot to learn about being a Bewilder yet still, for he still causes troubles and some few arguments among the other Bewilders.

Time Staff
Weight: 8lbs
Material used: Ancient Yew to form the base of the staff, with fresh new diamonds, with Dragon scales to enhance the time work ability, and a Clock-Work watch: all morphed into a scythe.
Staffs Abilities: Any power with time, such as freezing, and slowing, as well as fast forwarding.
Staffs Defects: The effects can only last for a short period of time, depending on Bewilders experience.
Requirements to possess the staff: The Bewilder must have understanding of time and fate. That what happens in the past has reason, as well as hope for a better future.
Bewilder:
Sara Seconds
Weight: 107lbs
Height: 5’3ft.
Build: Slim
Hair: Dark Brown, back length.
Eyes: Hazel

Skin: White, with a small tan
Age: 15.
Bio: Sara lived in Norway for all her life, constantly taunted because of anything. She was always quite, and yet the one most picked on, for reasons that ruined her confidence. There was nothing she could do about the rumors that spread around the school, and her parents did nothing to help with the situations. She hardly has hopes for anything, and doesn’t believe that she could do anything. Her trust has been broken numerous amounts of times with sexual and verbal harassments. Though she tries her best (or so she thinks) she has to gain confidence, and learn how powerful the staff she holds is, and to realize, that everything happens for a reason.

Sun Staff

Material used: Gold, Sunsilver, orange Topaz: shaped into a long staff, a spiked ring at the end of the staff (resembles the sun) with five sharp blades.
Staffs Abilities: Behold the power of the sun.
Staffs defects: Gets weaker if in darkness, more powerful when light is about.
Requirements to possess the staff: As like the sun, ones spirit must glow with goodness; and as bright, while caring and selfless.
Bewilder:
Phoenix
Height: 5’7
Weight: 143lbs
Build: Slightly muscular
Hair: White, mid-back wavy.
Eyes: White
Sex: Female
Skin: Sun kissed
Age: 17
Bio: Phoenix, AKA, Angelina Macbeth, is the twin sister of Bats. (She is Five minutes younger than him.) With great curiosity, and a strong since of adventure, she has a bad tendency of acting before thinking, which lands her in trouble. At one time, she could have been kidnapped and killed if Bats was not there to have helped her out of the situation. Not to mention it has landed her into a few fights, two leaving a scar on her left shoulder, and right knee. While Beholding the Sun Staff, the effect of it has left her very light hearted and gleeful. However, she must learn to think before she acts, and to rationalize the danger, which she lacks in. She and her brother live in Quebec, Canada. Or, at least, use to.

Moon Staff
Weight: 13lbs
Material used: Silver, Onyx gems, and Nightly-gold (gold that contains shadows); this is all created into a blade, with a moon-like curve at the end.
Staffs Abilities: To control darkness/shadows, moon powers.
Staffs defects: Weaker in light (Evil inside.)
Requirements to possess the staff: The Bewilder must be strong willed, especially to resist the temptations of the evilness cursed upon the staff; has to be strongly committed to goodness.

Bats
Height: 5’7
Weight: 157lbs
Build: Mildly Muscular.
Hair: Black, short/shaggy
Eyes: Black
Sex: Male
Skin: Moon White
Age: 17.
Bio: Bats, AKA David Macbeth, is much different from his sister (five minutes older), is more cautious and careful. He always considers the outcomes of any event, such as fights and so on, but usually expects the worse. Unlike Phoenix, he takes his time, observing every little detail. He has been in fist fights to keep his sister safe. From the fight to keep her from getting kidnapped, he has a scar on his right eye. At school, he is mocked because of his Goth like outlook, yet ignores all the comments and insults made including the subject. Though the taunting increased to cruel pranks, such as kids writing ‘Emo’ on all his positions, such as locker and books, and stealing his books and hiding them in the girls bathroom, he keeps his cool. While possessing the Moon Staff, however, he has grown darker, more evil in a way. He has to fight with the shadows inside of him every minute of the day, but still has a long ways to go before winning the battle. One false move could forever land him on the Dark side.

Fire Staff

Material used: Enhances heated Gold Blades, fire proofed Oak, and flaming ruby’s, all made into a two-sided hooked staff.
Staffs Abilities: Morphing/creating fire to ones desires.
Staffs defects: if wet, it will not work. Must wait until dried and heated for it to function again.
Requirements to possess the staff: Bewilder must have a soul of fire, and will-power that is just as hot. Fast. Sharp, and strong, as confident like a fire in a forest.

Third Degree
Height: 5’6
Weight: 132lbs
Build: Slightly muscular
Hair: Dark Red, spiked, neck length.
Eyes: Brown
Sex: Female
Skin: Sun tanned.
Age: 17
Bio: Third Degree is only a nickname. Jackie Crawford is her real name. Famous for her rebellious spree at school in San Francisco, she is known to free lab frogs, cause food fights, and mock teachers for giving her a bad grade, saying they didn’t know anything. Her nickname was earned because of her hot attitude, and sarcastic wits. She has served so many detentions, that she made a new school record. After her father passed away in war, Third was the only one able to take care of her sick mother, not yet diagnosed, but her hair falls out, and she looks brittle. She also has to help take care of her little brother, who was only four at the time. Third is bitter at being a Bewilder, because she had to leave her life behind. And thinking about how horrible her mother must be doing only makes her angrier.

Magic Staff

Material used: White gold, Dark silver, wrapped with twisted Unicorn horn and Dragon teeth for the blades; a crystal ball held in the middle to hold the power, decorated with blessed diamonds.
Staffs Abilities: All abilities remain a mystery, powers depend on Bewilder.
Staffs defects: To unpredictable if not trained well.
Requirements to possess the staff: One who holds the Magic Staff is the Leader; they must be willing to take in all responsibility to lead the others, and to assure their safety.

Secrtra
Height: 5’8ft
Weight: 163lbs
Build: Slim Build
Hair: Black, curly, shoulder-blade length
Eyes: Acid Green
Sex: Female
Skin: Pale White
Age: 19½
Bio: Secrtra O’Neal once lived in England, but the Witness Protection Program [because of some stalkers that posed a threat to her parents] moved them to Russia. She had to be held back twice in Russia’s schools because the sudden change in her life put her behind in all their work. She soon started taking her place as a ‘top dog’ while she got bolder with the larger students. She stood up countless amounts of times to anyone who bullied some of the less eligible class mates. Being the Bewilder of the Magic staff was not the first time she was a leader; once she got settled into her school, she was captain of the soccer team, and the glee club; became class president, captain debate team, and drum major for the band. Not to mention she won five science fair awards, Honorable Mention awards, two scholarships, and three Citizenship awards. Proving to those who called her a failure at her school wrong. Though successful, she has to learn what a huge responsibility it is to be the Bewilder of the Magic Staff.

Material used: Ancient Iron Wood, strengthened steel, emeralds, created into a gold edged blade that is hammer like.
Staffs Abilities: Summons the earth and creates earth like disasters.
Staffs defects: Can only use what the earth gives you in your area.
Requirements to possess the staff: Must be one with the earth, and strong; Not only with physical strength, but also within ones heart.

Build: Very Muscular
Hair: Dark brown, buzz cut
Eyes: Black
Sex: Male
Skin: Tanned skin.
Age: 19.
Bio: Stone travels all around the world with his father, an archeologist. He has been on the move since his parents’ divorce when he was six. He has never had a chance to make many friends, because they never stay in one area long enough to go to school even. Stone has always been home-schooled. Both he and his father were close, though his feelings for his mother remain sort of bitter. After being attacked by a hawk, leaving a scar in his forehead, and upper lip, he became a friend of it, and named him Skylord. After being chosen to behold the Earth Staff, he became home sick, missing his dad dearly. However, though he loves the earth, he must learn its ways of life as well...

Animal Staff

Material used: Hazel wood, Sphinx hair, Iron, and a Cat Eye gem, morphed into a three headed tribal spear.
Staffs Abilities: Controls Animals as well as form into one.
Staffs defects: Very unpredictable weather in animal form or not.
Requirements to possess the staff: Must be strongly connected to Animals; Bewilder should be as brave as a lion, as swift as a snake, but as kind as a Dove.

Fang
Height: 5’9
Weight: 176lbs
Build: Muscular
Hair: Dirty Blond, pony tail.
Eyes: Yellow like
Sex: Male
Skin: Tanned.
Age: 16½
Bio: Fang, living in the remote parts a Brazil, was abused by his family. He and his brother endured beatings from his father, and emotional scars from their mother. At school, they were also picked on, and tortured. Fangs face is covered in scars from the broken bottles and knifes he had to fight agents. He has no feeling in his right leg, because of a bad incident he and his father got into. Fang took his little brother and ran away into the Rain Forest. They were guided by animals; he lived in a tree house for a year before being chosen to be the Bewilder of the Animal Staff. Fang has never been a people person, but beholding the Animal Staff gave him an animal like quality; becoming more vicious and agree with the people back in Brazil, and sometimes with the other Bewilders. The only one he doesn’t ask brutal to his the pet he kept; a panther named Locrain.

Water Staff
Weight: 9½lbs
Material used: Light steal, shark leather, sea sapphires, and quarts, made into a whip like object with three sword blades on the end.
Staffs Abilities: Controls water [can morph it and freeze it into ice].
Staffs defects: Limited to amount of water.
Requirements to possess the staff: The Bewilder needs to be as flowing and mellow as the water, and like the water, also must be as bold as a sea-storm.
Bewilder:
Aquarius.
Height: 5’5
Weight: 120lbs
Build: Athletic
Hair: Sun bleached blond, wavy and held back in pony tail.
Eyes: sea blue
Sex: Female
Skin: White/ sun-tanned.
Age: 16
Bio: Aquarius was the only name she knew when she grew up in an orphanage. She had no recollection of her parents, due to a case of amnesia. She got her nickname because of her love of the water. She lives on the beaches of Hawaii, after running away from the orphanage when she was seven. Her joys in life are swimming with the dolphins, surfing, and anything to do with water. Though at night, she wishes dearly for the identity of her parents. After being chosen to be the Bewilder of the Water Staff, Aquarius was unsure on how she can get along with the other Bewilders, being bashful around them. But soon, she will learn much about her life, and the one she left behind.

Air Staff

Material used: Light Yew wood, wind pearls, and gypsum, morphed into a two-headed spear with eagle feathers.
Staffs Abilities: Ability of any air power, such as flight, and powerful wind gusts.
Staffs defects: consequences varies.
Requirements to possess the staff: The possessor of the staff must be well collected, and calm at all times, with a heart as light as the air itself.
Bewilder:
Atmos
Height: 5’5½
Weight: 124lbs
Build: Slim with some muscle build
Hair: Blond, wind-look.
Eyes: Dark green
Sex: Male
Skin: Regular White
Age: 15½
Bio: Allen Atomos, (obliviously, Atmos is his nickname) use to be a wild, and carefree spirit. However, one incident has left him quite, and edgy. Only once has he ever made a mistake like this: he and his little sister were just wondering the street in Cuba (his home town) when they were ambushed and mugged. He grabbed the man’s gun and shot him in the head. Atmos only had to serve three-hundred hours of community servos as a punishment, but still feel the guilt. Atmos was dubbed forever, ‘The murderer’ at his school, for as it turns out; it was his best-friends older brother. He tries his best to say as little words as possible when with the Bewilders, wanting to avoid any form of attention that could lead him into revealing his past. Though he is more than happy to have left Cuba, he just wishes that he didn’t have to be with the other Bewilders.
